As a Sustainability Development Specialist, your role will involve researching, planning, and implementing strategies to promote eco-friendly tourism initiatives that preserve and enhance the natural beauty of Aosta Valley. You will work closely with local communities, businesses, and government entities to foster a culture of environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sustainability projects and programs that align with the Department's eco-regeneration goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for green tourism initiatives that benefit both the environment and local communities.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate ecological footprints.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and provide reports on progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Conservation Management, or Sustainable Development.
- Proven experience in sustainability, environmental management, or eco-tourism.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
