Position: Sustainable Development Coordinator

Role Overview: As a Sustainable Development Coordinator at Stjørdal Bil, you will be responsible for spearheading initiatives that promote responsible land use, environmentally friendly construction practices, and community-oriented urban planning. Your daily activities will involve collaborating with local stakeholders, government agencies, and construction partners to ensure our projects align with sustainable development goals and adhere to eco-friendly best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable development strategies within our projects.
Engage with regulatory bodies and local communities to ensure compliance and foster positive relationships.
Research and recommend environmentally friendly construction techniques and materials.
Advocate for and incorporate green spaces and renewable energy solutions into our urban development projects.
Monitor and report on the environmental impact of our construction activities.
Contribute to the enhancement of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in sustainable development, urban planning, or a similar domain.
Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
An innovative and forward-thinking approach to sustainable construction and land use.
