DAP Products is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Research and Development Scientist. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our commitment to environmental sustainability and product innovation. As part of the Research and Development team, you will be responsible for driving projects focused on the sustainable development and enhancement of our product line.

Position: Research and Development Scientist

Location: Maryland, United States

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research to identify and integrate environmentally friendly materials into our product formulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the environmental impact of our products
Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure compliance with environmental standards
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations related to sustainable product development
Drive continuous improvement in the environmental performance of our products
Assist in the ideation and development of new eco-friendly product lines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in product development, formulation chemistry, or related environmental research
Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable material sourcing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Passion for environmental stewardship and sustainable development
