Singapore Management University (SMU) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team in the Central Region of Singapore. We are looking for an Urban Development Specialist who is passionate about creating vibrant and sustainable urban environments.
Position Overview:
We are in search of an individual with expertise in urban planning, development, and management to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on strategic initiatives that enhance urban living, connect communities, and contribute to the overall growth and development of Singapore's urban landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to urban development projects in the Central Region
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with urban development goals
- Analyze current urban trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide expertise on sustainable urban design and development practices
- Conduct research to support urban development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban development or related areas
- Demonstrated understanding of urban policies and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
