Join Our Team - Environmental Compliance Specialist

Mississippi Insurance Department is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an Environmental Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices within our operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact
Stay up-to-date with environmental laws and regulations
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes
Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to environmental standards
Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports and documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
Proven experience in environmental compliance or a related role
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
