Welcome to the National Library Board (NLB)! As a Sustainable Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to environmental conservation and sustainable practices within our community. We are seeking individuals with a passion for creating positive change within the Central Region of Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis on sustainable practices within urban environments
Develop and implement strategies for reducing carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate sustainable development practices into library programs and services
Evaluate the environmental impact of library initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainability

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field
Experience in project management and sustainable development initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Possess a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable living
