Position: Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Douglas County, Nevada

We are currently looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and retaining top-tier talent to ensure that the district continues to provide the best educational opportunities for students. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing recruitment strategies, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute recruiting plans
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
Conduct interviews and make recommendations to hiring managers
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and ongoing relationship management
Prepare and present regular recruiting and hiring metrics reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
Demonstrated expertise in candidate sourcing and evaluation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of social media and job boards for sourcing candidates
Strong understanding of recruiting processes and best practices
