Here at Akureyri Community Wellness Center, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join us as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in sourcing, attracting, and assessing top-tier talent to contribute to our mission of providing holistic wellness programs to our community.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from candidate sourcing to onboarding
Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and objectives
Conduct interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Manage and enhance our employer brand and presence across various platforms

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR databases
Highly organized with excellent time management abilities
