Lombardy Foundation for Research on Economic Development (FLIRED) is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sustainability and Earth Stewardship Specialist.

As a foundation committed to fostering sustainable economic development, we are deeply invested in the stewardship of our environment and the responsible management of natural resources. Our goal is to identify innovative ways to harmonize economic growth with environmental preservation, ensuring a better future for generations to come.

Position Overview:

Research and analyze the environmental impact of economic development initiatives within Lombardy
Develop strategies to promote sustainable practices and minimize ecological footprint
Foster collaborations with local businesses and government agencies to implement environmentally-conscious policy changes
Lead educational initiatives to raise awareness about environmental stewardship and sustainable development
Contribute to the development of programs aimed at mitigating the environmental impact of industrial activities

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field such as Earth Sciences, Environmental Studies, or Sustainability
Demonstrated passion for environmental conservation and sustainability efforts
Proven experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing sustainable solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for fostering partnerships and leading educational programs
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation related to environmental and economic factors
