Role Overview

As a Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to connect the university with various community groups and stakeholders. This includes collaborating with local organizations, government bodies, and nonprofits to create impactful initiatives that benefit the Queensland community and beyond. Your role will involve fostering strong relationships and promoting Griffith University's objectives through community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute community engagement plans to support the university's initiatives
Foster partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and non-profit entities
Identify opportunities for collaborative projects and sustainable community development
Measure and report on the impact of community engagement activities

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

Proven experience in community engagement, government relations, or nonprofit management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships
A passion for contributing positively to communities and driving impactful change
