We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Cultural Engagement Specialist at Museum Tinguely Basel.

As a Cultural Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing public involvement, developing outreach programs, and shaping the museum's cultural impact.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement innovative strategies for engaging diverse audiences with the museum's collections and exhibits
Collaborate with community partners to create educational programs and events
Oversee and manage the museum's public relations and communication efforts
Lead guided tours, workshops, and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages
Contribute to the development and execution of cultural events and special exhibitions
Represent the museum at cultural forums, conferences, and public events
Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of engagement initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Art History, Cultural Studies, Museum Studies, or related fields
Demonstrated experience in cultural engagement, community outreach, or public programming
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on inclusivity and accessibility
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
A deep appreciation for contemporary art and a keen interest in exploring new forms of cultural engagement
