Position Available: Senior Environmental Solutions Specialist

As a Senior Environmental Solutions Specialist at Scania, your primary role will be to conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and provide innovative solutions to minimize our environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable strategies and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead environmental impact assessments for new projects and operations
Develop and implement environmentally sustainable initiatives and strategies
Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance across all areas of the business
Provide technical expertise and support on environmental compliance and regulations
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align with environmental goals
Conduct research on emerging environmental trends and technologies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Proven experience in environmental management and sustainability, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector
Strong knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulations
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
Passion for finding innovative and pragmatic solutions to environmental challenges
