United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) in Nairobi Metropolitan is seeking a passionate and culturally aware individual to join our team in the role of Community Wellness Ambassador. At Diversity and Wellness, we are committed to promoting and celebrating diverse cultural practices and traditions that contribute to wellness and sustainable living.

We believe that beauty, health, and wellness go beyond traditional practices and embrace a holistic approach that includes environmental and cultural considerations. As a Community Wellness Ambassador, you will be instrumental in facilitating the exchange of knowledge and practices that support holistic wellness within Nairobi's vibrant and diverse communities.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate workshops and events that honor and embrace diverse cultural wellness practices
Engage with community leaders to identify and promote sustainable beauty and wellness initiatives
Collaborate with local stakeholders to integrate traditional and contemporary wellness practices
Promote UNEP's initiatives on sustainable beauty and wellness
Contribute to the development of educational resources on diverse cultural beauty and wellness practices

Requirements:

Passion for cultural diversity, beauty, and wellness
Deep respect for traditional knowledge and practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
Understanding of environmental and sustainability issues related to beauty and wellness
Demonstrated experience in community engagement and event organization
Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages is an asset
