North Carolina Museum of History Associates is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Environmental Stewardship & Community Engagement Coordinator. In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating our commitment to environmental sustainability and community involvement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable practices within the workplace
Coordinate community outreach programs focused on environmental education and awareness
Collaborate with internal departments to integrate environmental responsibility into our organizational culture
Engage in recruitment efforts focusing on individuals passionate about environmental stewardship and social responsibility
Establish partnerships with local organizations to further our impact in environmental conservation
Facilitate workshops and events aimed at promoting sustainable practices and community involvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Human Ecology, or related field
Experience in project management and community engagement
Demonstrated passion for environmental sustainability and social impact
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Knowledge of local environmental policies and initiatives
