North Carolina Museum of History Associates is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Environmental Stewardship & Community Engagement Coordinator. In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating our commitment to environmental sustainability and community involvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices within the workplace
  • Coordinate community outreach programs focused on environmental education and awareness
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate environmental responsibility into our organizational culture
  • Engage in recruitment efforts focusing on individuals passionate about environmental stewardship and social responsibility
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations to further our impact in environmental conservation
  • Facilitate workshops and events aimed at promoting sustainable practices and community involvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Human Ecology, or related field
  • Experience in project management and community engagement
  • Demonstrated passion for environmental sustainability and social impact
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Knowledge of local environmental policies and initiatives
