NATO Undersea Research Centre (NURC) is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as a Sustainable Development Specialist. We are committed to fostering sustainability within the Brussels-Capital Region and recognize the essential role of our built environment in achieving these goals.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable construction practices and environmental impact assessments.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable design principles into our construction projects.
Advise on sustainable building materials and technologies.
Research and recommend innovative green building strategies.
Contribute to the development of environmental policies and procedures.
Engage in community outreach and education initiatives centered around sustainable development.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience in sustainable development within the construction or real estate industry.
Familiarity with green building certification programs (LEED, BREEAM, etc.).
An understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Strong analytical capabilities and a solutions-focused mindset.
