Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager - Empowering Communities to join our team. As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in championing and implementing initiatives that foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusivity within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy that aligns with our corporate objectives and promotes a culture of inclusion.
- Collaborate with company leaders, HR, and various departments to identify and address diversity and inclusion gaps and opportunities.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance cultural competence and awareness among employees, helping them navigate diverse environments with sensitivity and respect.
- Lead employee resource groups and affinity networks, fostering a sense of belonging and providing platforms for diverse experiences and perspectives to be shared.
- Drive partnerships and collaborations with external organizations, community groups, and educational institutions to advance diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop metrics and tools to track the success of diversity and inclusion efforts, providing regular updates and progress reports to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, incorporating them into our programs and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, HR, Organizational Development) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience managing diversity and inclusion programs in a corporate, government, or nonprofit setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within an organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience designing and facilitating training programs on topics related to diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and an understanding of the business case for fostering an inclusive work environment.
