Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to join our dynamic team. We’re looking for someone who is driven, people-oriented, and has a passion for community engagement. As a Community Outreach Coordinator at Swiss TPH, you will be responsible for fostering connections within the community and promoting our programs and initiatives in a natural and approachable way.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups
- Organize and participate in community events to promote public awareness
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing and outreach strategies
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to understand community needs
- Assist in the development of community-focused initiatives and programs
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in public health and community engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and networking skills
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative outreach strategies
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
