Position: Rural Development Specialist

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with rural communities in Texas, empowering local agricultural initiatives, and driving sustainable rural development practices. As a Rural Development Specialist at NextEra Energy, you will lead efforts to optimize agricultural operations, promote renewable energy sources, and support the implementation of cutting-edge technologies that enhance productivity while preserving the natural environment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with local farmers and landowners to implement sustainable agricultural practices
Facilitate the adoption of renewable energy solutions within rural communities
Develop and execute strategies to enhance soil and water conservation methods
Provide expert guidance on leveraging technology for efficient and eco-friendly farming
Partner with local organizations to promote rural economic development initiatives

Qualifications:
