Borgarfjordur Community Environmental Group is looking for a dedicated and motivated Global Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Iceland's Eastern Region.

Your Role:

Lead and develop sustainable strategies and programs with a global perspective, ensuring they align with our organization's mission and values.
Collaborate with international partners and communities to implement environmental projects and initiatives.
Identify and analyze emerging global sustainability trends, providing valuable insights to drive impactful change.
Develop and manage cross-cultural initiatives promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

What We're Looking For:

A proven track record in global sustainability, environmental management, or related fields.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse international stakeholders.
An innovative mindset and the ability to think strategically, driving forward our global environmental agenda.
A deep understanding of international environmental policies, practices, and emerging trends.
The capability to lead and inspire cross-cultural teams to achieve sustainable outcomes.
