We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Research and Development Engineer to join our team at Toulon Provence Mediterranean Regional Clean Energy Association. As a key contributor in our pursuit of sustainable and clean energy solutions, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of the energy industry within the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage research projects aimed at advancing clean energy technologies and solutions.
- Design and develop experimental protocols and methodologies for testing and validating new energy systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into practical, scalable applications.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and scientific advancements to drive innovation and maintain technical expertise.
- Contribute to the publication of research findings and represent the organization at industry conferences and events.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in research and development within the energy sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and project management.
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and their application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a passion for collaborative teamwork.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and French.
