We are currently seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team at the Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Public Health - Region 8.
Position: Outreach Content Strategist
Location: Louisiana, United States
Job Description:
- Develop and implement creative strategies to engage the public and increase awareness of health initiatives in our region.
- Collaborate with various teams to create compelling content for different media platforms, including social media, video, and web.
- Analyze audience engagement and tailor content to effectively reach diverse demographics.
- Plan and coordinate outreach events and promotional campaigns to support public health objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance our outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing engaging content for media, advertising, or community outreach.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of public health initiatives and the ability to frame content to promote health education and awareness.
- Proficiency in utilizing various digital and traditional media platforms for content dissemination.
