We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team and further enhance our diverse work culture. As a Cultural Diversity Champion at Omya, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and promoting a culture of inclusivity and understanding within our IT and software development department.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within our IT and software development teams
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies that promote cultural awareness and sensitivity
Organize and lead cultural competence training programs
Act as a bridge between the company and various cultural groups, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect
Advocate for diverse recruitment strategies and contribute to the development of an inclusive hiring process
Monitor and assess diversity-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness

Requirements:

Proven experience in promoting diversity and inclusion in a professional setting
Strong understanding of the IT and software development industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with individuals from various cultural backgrounds
Ability to drive change through innovative and collaborative approaches
Demonstrated leadership in advocating for diversity and inclusion initiatives
Commitment to fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and cultural competence
