We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This role will involve creating and implementing strategies to enhance community involvement in county-wide events and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local sports and entertainment businesses
- Organize and oversee community events aimed at promoting physical fitness and recreational activities
- Collaborate with schools, clubs, and organizations to encourage youth participation in sports and cultural events
- Act as a liaison between the county government and various sports and entertainment entities
- Assist in coordinating county-wide tournaments, competitions, and showcases
- Facilitate partnerships with local businesses for sponsorship and promotional opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field
- Proven experience in event planning, community outreach, or related roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Passion for promoting a healthy and active lifestyle within the community
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
