As a Senior Environmental Stewardship Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative environmental programs and initiatives that support our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. You will work directly with our research and development teams to ensure that our aquaculture operations not only meet but exceed industry environmental standards, leveraging advanced technologies and sustainable practices to minimize our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of environmental stewardship initiatives, ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry best practices.
Develop, oversee, and continuously improve environmental management systems and policies.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into our aquaculture operations.
Conduct environmental audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
Advise on the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and practices to enhance environmental sustainability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Marine Biology, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental stewardship within the aquaculture, marine, or related industries.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing environmental programs, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
Proven track record of implementing sustainable practices and technologies to minimize environmental impact within a production environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
