Position: Supply Chain Coordinator - Environmentally Responsible Practices
Location: Northern Cape, South Africa
Job Description:
- Develop strategies for environmentally responsible sourcing, transportation, and distribution practices
- Collaborate with suppliers and transport partners to reduce our carbon footprint
- Evaluate and optimize transportation routes for efficiency and eco-friendliness
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards in all supply chain activities
- Implement and maintain sustainable packaging initiatives
- Monitor and report on the environmental impact of supply chain operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Proven experience in supply chain management, sustainability, or related fields
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable supply chain practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable business practices
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement
