Job Description
Luxembourg Employment Agency is seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our dynamic team as a Travel Specialist. As a Travel Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel services to our clients in the tourism and vacation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with planning and booking their vacations, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Research and recommend travel destinations, attractions, and itineraries based on client preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with travel trends, new destinations, and travel regulations.
- Handle multiple client inquiries simultaneously via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their travel experience.
- Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to negotiate rates and secure reservations.
- Ensure all travel-related documentation and visas are accurately processed.
- Handle any travel-related issues and provide effective solutions.
- Stay knowledgeable about local and international attractions, events, and festivals.
- Assist in designing and promoting travel packages and offers.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Travel Specialist or a similar role in the tourism industry.
- Proficiency in using travel software and platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and travel requirements.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Passion for travel and a willingness to continuously update travel-related knowledge.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or outside of regular office hours when necessary.
