Job Opening: Legal Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to consumer protection and food safety
Conduct legal research to stay up-to-date with current laws, directives, and industry standards
Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures
Review and assess the legality of consumer-related activities
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal compliance in product development, labeling, and advertising
Investigate and resolve consumer complaints and legal issues
Prepare and present reports on compliance efforts to senior management
Provide legal advice and guidance to the organization and its stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
Professional experience in legal compliance, preferably in consumer protection or food safety
Thorough knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in German and English
