We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our team at Bundeswehr Technical Center for Protective and Special Technologies (WTD 52) in Brandenburg, Germany. We are currently recruiting for the position of Advanced Gear Development Engineer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and creating advanced protective gear for high-performance applications. A successful candidate will be someone who thrives on challenges and is deeply committed to achieving excellence in their work.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Developing new materials and technologies for protective gear
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and optimize gear designs
- Conducting rigorous testing and analysis to ensure performance and safety standards are met
- Contributing to the advancement of protective gear technology through research and development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience in design and development of sports or high-performance gear is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in prototyping, testing, and iterative design processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
