As a Health and Safety Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing internal communications strategies that promote a culture of safety, health, and well-being. Your role will involve developing engaging content to inform and educate employees on best practices, safety protocols, and health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute internal communications plans focused on health and safety
Create compelling content for newsletters, intranet, and other internal platforms to raise awareness of safety practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging related to health and safety
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication tactics and adjust strategies as needed
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in workplace health and safety communications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
Proven experience in developing and implementing internal communications strategies, preferably in a health and safety-focused role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work collaboratively and influence across various levels of the organization
Proficiency in utilizing various communication channels and platforms
