We are seeking a Senior Route Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team at Eneco Group in South Holland, Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

Utilize advanced analytical tools and software to optimize transportation routes for our fleet
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and minimize transportation costs
Analyze historical transportation data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve route optimization strategies
Lead and mentor a team of transportation analysts to ensure seamless implementation of optimized routes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field
Proven experience in route optimization, logistics planning, or related fields
Proficiency in using optimization software and tools such as CPLEX, AnyLogic, or similar platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling complex transportation challenges
Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Passionate about sustainability and enthusiastic about integrating sustainable practices into transportation operations
Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous
