We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team at Friends of the Earth Värmland. As a Legal Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization operates within the boundaries of legal and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Conducting legal research and analysis to ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures to align with legal requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide legal guidance and support on various initiatives and projects.
Preparing and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Assessing and mitigating legal risks that may affect the organization.
Staying informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations and advising the organization accordingly.
Supporting in the resolution of legal disputes and issues as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
Proven experience in legal research, compliance, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of legal principles and frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
