We're Hiring a Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist

At BC Securities Commission, we are committed to making a positive impact in British Columbia's media, advertising, and entertainment industry. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist.

As a leader in the regulatory sector, we understand the importance of corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship within the media, advertising, and entertainment landscape. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advocating, developing, and implementing sustainable initiatives while fostering impactful relationships within the industry.

Responsibilities:

Assessing and enhancing the company's sustainability strategies within the media, advertising, and entertainment sectors.
Collaborating with industry stakeholders to promote socially responsible initiatives that benefit the community and environment.
Developing and managing programs that support ethical practices and environmental conservation.
Monitoring and reporting on corporate social responsibility metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, or environmental advocacy within the media, advertising, or entertainment industry.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to environmental policies and corporate social responsibility.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management abilities to drive impactful and measurable change.
