Craftsmanship Coordinator Wanted at National Trust Wales

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Craftsmanship Coordinator to join our team at National Trust Wales. As a Craftsmanship Coordinator, you will be responsible for preserving and promoting traditional crafts, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship in all aspects of conservation and repair within our historic properties.

Your role will involve working closely with our teams to deliver high-quality craftsmanship in line with our conservation objectives. You will be instrumental in supporting and training our staff, volunteers, and external contractors in traditional skills and techniques, such as carpentry, stonemasonry, and other relevant crafts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heritage conservation, with experience in managing complex projects within historic environments. You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others. A deep understanding of traditional building materials and methods, as well as a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards, is essential for this role.
