Caring Companions Coordinator, UNICEF Kenya
We are excited to invite passionate individuals to join UNICEF Kenya as a Caring Companions Coordinator. At UNICEF Kenya, we believe in fostering a culture of care and teamwork, where every member of our team plays a crucial role in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals, including our furry friends.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate programs aimed at fostering empathy and care for our animal companions
- Collaborate with local communities to promote responsible pet ownership
- Develop educational initiatives focusing on animal welfare and health
- Work closely with volunteers to organize community events and outreach programs
- Build partnerships with relevant organizations to support animal welfare initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Passion for advocating for the wellbeing of animals and promoting responsible pet ownership
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including communities and partner organizations
