Position Overview:

The Community Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and leading wellness initiatives and events within the community. This role will involve collaborating with local organizations, schools, and businesses to create engaging fitness programs, sports events, and wellness workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing community fitness and wellness programs
  • Coordinating sports events and tournaments to promote physical activity
  • Partnering with local schools to support youth fitness and wellness education
  • Organizing wellness workshops and seminars for community members
  • Building relationships with local businesses to support healthy living initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Community Health, or related field
  • Experience in event planning, community outreach, and program coordination
  • Passion for promoting wellness and physical activity in the community
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
