We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Wildlife Advocacy Field Officer at Nakuru Environmental Advocacy Group. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about wildlife conservation and advocacy. As part of our dynamic team, the Wildlife Advocacy Field Officer will play a crucial role in promoting and protecting the welfare of wildlife in Nakuru and its environs.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with local communities to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and advocate for the protection of endangered species.
Conduct field surveys and assessments to monitor wildlife populations and their habitats.
Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement wildlife protection initiatives.
Educate the public on the importance of preserving wildlife and contribute to the development of educational outreach programs.
Participate in campaigns and events aimed at promoting wildlife advocacy and environmental conservation.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Experience in community engagement and outreach is a plus.
