We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Wildlife Advocacy Field Officer at Nakuru Environmental Advocacy Group. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about wildlife conservation and advocacy. As part of our dynamic team, the Wildlife Advocacy Field Officer will play a crucial role in promoting and protecting the welfare of wildlife in Nakuru and its environs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with local communities to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and advocate for the protection of endangered species.
  • Conduct field surveys and assessments to monitor wildlife populations and their habitats.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement wildlife protection initiatives.
  • Educate the public on the importance of preserving wildlife and contribute to the development of educational outreach programs.
  • Participate in campaigns and events aimed at promoting wildlife advocacy and environmental conservation.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for wildlife and environmental advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience in community engagement and outreach is a plus.
