Are you passionate about environmental conservation and the well-being of living creatures? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks for an exciting opportunity in our Wildlife Preservation and Ecosystem Management division.

Position: Wildlife Habitat Specialist

Location: Ontario, Canada

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field research and analysis to assess and monitor wildlife habitats.
Develop and implement strategies for the sustainable management and protection of wildlife habitats and ecosystems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote wildlife conservation and protection initiatives.
Provide expertise and guidance on wildlife preservation and habitat restoration projects.
Evaluate the impacts of human activities on wildlife habitats and recommend mitigation measures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.
Proven experience in wildlife habitat conservation, environmental assessment, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of local wildlife species, habitats, and conservation practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Passion for promoting biodiversity, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
