The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York is seeking a passionate and culturally astute individual to join our team as a Cultural Engagement Specialist.
At MoMA, we celebrate diversity and inclusivity, and we are looking for someone who can help us create a welcoming and engaging environment for visitors from all walks of life.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with visitors from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Guide guests through our cultural exhibitions and retail offerings
- Provide personalized recommendations and insights on our products
- Collaborate with the team to create a culturally rich retail atmosphere
- Contribute to the development of culturally inclusive marketing strategies
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated passion for promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge and appreciation of art and diverse cultural expressions
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- Prior experience in customer service or retail is preferred
