Position: Transportation and Supply Chain Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to join our dedicated team as a Transportation and Supply Chain Coordinator. This crucial role entails overseeing the coordination and management of all transportation and supply chain operations within the school district. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods and students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive transportation and supply chain plans
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish transportation and supply chain protocols
Manage and optimize transportation routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery
Coordinate and track all transportation and supply chain activities
Implement and enforce transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Conduct analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Monitor and evaluate the performance of transportation providers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proficient in using logistics and supply chain software/systems
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
