About Us

Austurland Community Cycling Club is a leading organization in the Eastern Region of Iceland that aims to create a thriving cycling culture. Our club focuses on developing cycling infrastructure, organizing events, and promoting active transportation for a sustainable future.

Your Role

Plan and coordinate cycling events, such as races, tours, and workshops, to engage the community.
Collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and authorities to create partnerships and secure sponsorships for club initiatives.
Promote safe cycling practices and encourage participation from people of all ages and abilities.
Develop and maintain relationships with club members, volunteers, and stakeholders.
Lead and supervise a team of cycling instructors and guides during club activities.

Requirements

A genuine passion for cycling and a strong belief in its positive impact on individuals and communities.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Previous experience in event planning or community engagement is desirable.
Knowledge of local cycling routes, safety regulations, and bike maintenance.
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to accommodate club events.
