ExxonMobil Chemical is a renowned multinational company operating in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Operations Manager within the retail sector.

As the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail outlets, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences. Your role will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our company's professional standing and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of retail store managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of operational goals and objectives.
Develop strategies to optimize store performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and inventory control.
Implement and maintain operational standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as suppliers and marketing teams, to drive business growth and foster strong partnerships.
Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of retail staff, promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing timely and accurate feedback to senior management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment for both employees and customers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in retail operations management, preferably within the franchise/chain industry.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
