Position: Legal Consultant

Responsibilities:

Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents on behalf of the organization.
Offer legal advice and guidance to various departments within the health board.
Manage and assess legal risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Represent the health board in legal proceedings, providing expert opinion and representation.
Conduct legal research to support decision-making processes.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in a legal role, preferably within the healthcare or public sector.
Strong knowledge of healthcare law, regulations, and legal processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Membership in a relevant professional body, such as the Law Society or equivalent.
A commitment to continually updating legal knowledge and skills.
