Position Available: Cultural Connectivity Specialist

This distinctive role revolves around the creation and facilitation of diverse cultural experiences, with a special emphasis on the intersection of traditional music and contemporary research. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of different musical traditions and be able to leverage this knowledge to bridge cultural divides, fostering a spirit of unity and learning. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our esteemed faculty, contributing to the development of innovative projects that showcase the universal language of music.

Key Responsibilities

Curate and coordinate multicultural music events, workshops, and seminars
Lead and participate in collaborative research projects exploring the cultural roots of music
Foster connections with local and global communities to promote inclusivity and diversity
Develop curricular materials that highlight the cultural diversity within music education
Contribute to the school's efforts in showcasing the fusion of traditional and contemporary musical expressions

Requirements

A strong background in musicology, ethnomusicology, or related fields
Demonstrated experience in cultivating cross-cultural understanding through music
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences
An innovative mindset with the capacity to integrate traditional and modern musical practices
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
