Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Creative Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging initiatives that promote art, design, and creative expression within the SUSS community.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and execute innovative art/design events, exhibitions, and workshops to facilitate community engagement and collaboration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including faculty and students, to curate and showcase artistic talents within the SUSS community
Manage social media platforms and create compelling content to promote the university's artistic endeavors
Identify and forge partnerships with external organizations to enhance the visibility and reach of SUSS's artistic initiatives
Provide ongoing support and guidance to students and faculty in their artistic pursuits

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., fine arts, design, visual communications)
Prior experience in event management or creative programming is preferred
Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Proficiency in design software/tools (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Passion for cultivating a positive, collaborative, and supportive artistic community
