Job Title: Wildlife Habitat Conservation Specialist
About Us
Vino Del Lago is a premier vineyard located in the heart of beautiful Nevada, just steps away from the stunning Lake Tahoe. We pride ourselves on being an environmentally conscious winery, striving to protect and enhance the natural habitat surrounding our vineyards.
Your Role
- Monitor and manage wildlife activities in and around our vineyard areas.
- Develop and implement strategies to protect wildlife habitats.
- Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Conduct research on local flora and fauna to assess potential impacts.
- Create and maintain records of wildlife and habitat-related data.
- Organize and lead educational initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Conservation, or related field.
- Proven experience in wildlife habitat conservation or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local wildlife and habitat preservation techniques.
- Excellent research and data analysis skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and preserving our natural resources.
