Job Title: Resource Coordinator

About the Role:

As a Resource Coordinator at Vesturland Health Clinic, you will be responsible for maintaining a seamless supply chain, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring operational efficiency throughout our Western Region. Your role will play a vital part in supporting the clinic's daily operations and patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and other resources within the clinic
Develop and implement efficient processes to streamline resource utilization
Maintain records of inventory levels, track usage, and prepare regular reports
Collaborate with various departments to forecast resource requirements
Oversee transportation logistics for transferring resources between different clinic locations
Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers

Requirements:

Previous experience in resource management, supply chain, or related fields
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
Understanding of healthcare operations and regulations (preferred)
