Carbon&more GmbH, a leading sustainability technology company based in Bavaria, Germany, is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Corporate Compliance Specialist.

As a Corporate Compliance Specialist at Carbon&more, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's legal and regulatory compliance across various areas. Your expertise in analyzing and interpreting laws and regulations will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our compliance programs.

Responsibilities:

Conducting regular and thorough legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the company
Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures
Assessing the company's operations and practices to identify potential compliance risks
Providing guidance and support to departments to ensure adherence to compliance requirements
Monitoring and evaluating compliance systems and controls
Preparing and delivering compliance training to employees
Investigating compliance violations and recommending corrective actions
Collaborating with external legal advisors as needed
Staying informed about industry best practices and advancements in compliance
Assisting in the development and maintenance of our Code of Conduct

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role or a similar legal position
Excellent knowledge of German corporate law and regulations
Familiarity with international legal frameworks and emerging compliance trends
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong ethical mindset, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information
