Job Responsibilities

Provide hands-on care and attention to the animals in our facility, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for the animals.
Monitor the health and behavior of the animals, promptly reporting any concerns or changes to the supervisor.
Help facilitate exercise, socialization, and enrichment activities to ensure the physical and mental well-being of the animals.
Assist in the adoption process, including screening potential adopters and providing them with guidance and support.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to administer medications, perform basic medical procedures, and maintain accurate records.
Stay informed about current animal care practices and participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Contribute to the efficient operation of the facility by assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Prior experience working with animals, such as in a shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar setting.
A genuine passion and understanding of animal behavior and welfare.
Basic knowledge of common animal diseases, hygiene practices, and nutrition.
Ability to handle animals of various sizes, species, and temperaments with compassion and patience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
