In this role, you will be responsible for curating and maintaining exhibits that showcase Victoria's unique wildlife heritage. Responsibilities:

  • Curate and manage exhibits related to Victoria's wildlife
  • Research and gather information about indigenous wildlife species
  • Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and educators to develop informative and interactive exhibits
  • Contribute to the creation of educational materials and programs focused on wildlife conservation and preservation
  • Work with community groups and volunteers to promote awareness of wildlife heritage
  • Stay updated on current trends and issues in the field of wildlife conservation and heritage
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of special events and exhibitions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as biology, zoology, environmental science, or museum studies
  • Demonstrated passion for wildlife conservation and preservation
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience in museum curation or related fields is preferred
