Museums Victoria is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Heritage Curator. In this role, you will be responsible for curating and maintaining exhibits that showcase Victoria's unique wildlife heritage. Responsibilities:

Curate and manage exhibits related to Victoria's wildlife
Research and gather information about indigenous wildlife species
Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and educators to develop informative and interactive exhibits
Contribute to the creation of educational materials and programs focused on wildlife conservation and preservation
Work with community groups and volunteers to promote awareness of wildlife heritage
Stay updated on current trends and issues in the field of wildlife conservation and heritage
Contribute to the planning and implementation of special events and exhibitions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as biology, zoology, environmental science, or museum studies
Demonstrated passion for wildlife conservation and preservation
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience in museum curation or related fields is preferred
