Position: Community Health Advocate


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community health programs focused on preventive care and education.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to promote health awareness and facilitate access to healthcare services.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify community health needs.
  • Plan and coordinate health campaigns, workshops, and events to address prevalent issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals and families in making informed health decisions.
  • Advocate for policies and initiatives that enhance community health outcomes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report health data to measure program effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Social Sciences, or Community Development.
  • Proven experience in community engagement and health promotion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources in North West is advantageous.
